Scythe Tuning: Improving your technique and practical skills.

Whether you’ve been mowing for a few weeks or a few years, every time you go out with a scythe presents an opportunity to learn and improve. Like any skill, though, feedback from more experienced practitioners and discussion among peers really does make a difference.

This class presents a rare opportunity to help improve your scythe skills in a practical ‘hands-on’ way. Whether it’s setup, honing techniques, blade choices or ways to tackle particular conditions, you bring the questions, and we’ll help you find answers.

The session will be facilitated by Chris Hayes (scythe.ie), Fergus O’Regan and Brian Browne. All are SABI* members and have been through ‘advanced’ training in the UK to complement their own skills & experience.
