Join us for a series of open workshop days where Shannon will collaborate in offering hands-on sessions focused on basic carpentry skills and simple design projects. Learn to use tools safely in a supportive, welcoming environment while engaging in shared making and learning.
Together, we will craft functional objects that shape the material culture of our daily lives—examples of a project that might be explored : wooden step stools, simple storage units, shelving, shoe racks, and honesty boxes. There will also be an opportunity to design your own projects that fall within the scope of the project.
