Join us for a day of celebration as we gather around the fire to make acorn bread, sing and stitch with the 4 C’s of the Acorn Project : connection, community collaboration and celebration.
This time of year , is the time to gather in the acorns. There are so many different ways that seeds inspire but most of all it is their power to restore and nourish.
In this workshop we will make bread with Eadaoin Walsh using the acorn flour created in previous workshop as we sing and share storiesaround the fire. We will begin a stitched piece with the yarns and fabric naturally dyed over the autumn .Participants will then be invited to take this embroidery piece into the winter to complete and stitch by stitch create a vision for themselves and nature.
Waking the Seeds is an invitation to restore and be restored and to hold a collective vision for nature restoration through creative practice.
Outdoor workshop . Dress warm and waterproof.
