This time of year , is the time to gather in the acorns. There are so many different ways that seeds inspire but most of all it is their power to restore and nourish. In this workshop we will explore how nature can give us the tools we need to restore and nourish.
Inspired by the acorn cups, Potter Aisling McElwain will work with us to create vessels pressed with plants. We will use these vessels to nourish ourselves with wildautumnal foods and medecines that we forage.
Join forager Maura Brennan and learn to process acorns for flour , an ancient wild food and also wild ferments.
Waking the Seeds is an invitation to restore and be restored and to hold a collective vision for nature restoration through creative practice.
